Progress continues on the Aleto Bridges project over the Aleto River in Nigeria.

These twin bridges are designed as cast in situ, post-tensioned concrete structures, built using the balanced cantilever method.

Each bridge is 160m long divided into 3 spans, with a maximum span of 80m, and consist of single hollow box girders.

The contractor has successfully completed the substructure works for both bridges.

Construction has now advanced to the superstructure phase, with the first segments being cast and post-tensioned at the intermediate piers.
