AI Training Workshop

AI Training Workshop

At Kedmor Engineers, we believe in staying ahead of the curve.

Last week, our entire team took part in a full-day, hands-on AI workshop led by Gil Ben David of Binogad Ltd. – an AI expert, lecturer, and consultant.

Together, we explored the real-world applications of artificial intelligence in structural engineering and learned how to integrate AI tools into our workflows to boost innovation, efficiency, and impact.

Thank you, Gil, for an inspiring and practical session that opened our eyes to what’s possible. The future is here—and we’re building it.

Route 60 Interchange project

Route 60 Interchange project

Kedmor Engineers are proud to provide value engineering design services for the superstructure of the two-span bridge, BR-01, which is a part of the Route 60 Interchange project, near Nazareth, on behalf of contractor AMT Channel Surveying.

To enhance the original government tender design, we replaced pre-tensioned girders with cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete box girders, improving buildability and reducing costs.
The total bridge length is 68m, with spans of 27m & 41m.

Site work begins on a new river bridge in Nigeria

Site work begins on a new river bridge in Nigeria

Foundation work is underway for our New River Bridge project in Nigeria! This 35m, 3-span bridge near Abuja will improve connectivity along the road. This integral bridge has been designed using pre-cast concrete girders and a cast-in-situ deck, and optimized using SOFiSTiK finite-element analysis software.

We wish the site team the very best of luck!

Opening of the Great Ruaha River Bridge in Tanzania

Opening of the Great Ruaha River Bridge in Tanzania

We are thrilled to announce that the Great Ruaha River Bridge in Tanzania has been officially opened for traffic.

This 133-meter, three-span, symmetrical steel girder bridge, designed with a steel composite superstructure and supported on elastomeric pot-bearings, now stands as a testament to engineering excellence.

The bridge was constructed using the incremental launching method, ensuring the river's natural flow remained unobstructed during the build.

This bridge will greatly enhance connectivity and transportation efficiency in the region, supporting Tanzania’s continued growth, sustainability, and development.

Design progress on HaShoftim 8-10, Ramat HaSharon

Design progress on HaShoftim 8-10, Ramat HaSharon

Kedmor Engineers are providing the structural design for this 8-storey, high-end, mixed-use development in Ramat HaSharon, comprising residential and office space, and a 4-storey deep basement car park.

The structural frame is of reinforced concrete construction, with extensive use of architectural fair-faced concrete. The building is founded on an economic raft foundation, and utilizes a contiguous-piled retaining wall, with temporary ground anchors.

Kedmor have worked closely with the Architects to achieve slender flat slabs, optimized for long, column-free spans, using Sofistik advanced finite element analysis software, to facilitate the irregular architectural facade. A ‘walking column’ solution was adopted at 1st floor level, to accommodate changes in the column grids, realising the architect's vision of a clean, exposed slab soffit, without large transfer beams.

7th International Exhibition & Conference on Concervation & Reuse of Cultural Assets

7th International Exhibition & Conference on Concervation & Reuse of Cultural Assets

Last week, we attended the 7th International Exhibition and Conference on Conservation and Reuse of Cultural Assets in Tel Aviv. We were inspired by the discussions on preserving history, from memorializing the tragedy in Kibbutz Be'eri to urban renewal in Germany and archaeological discoveries during construction of the metro in Portugal.

These insights reinforce our commitment to designing sustainable structures, that respect the past, while shaping a resilient future.

We thank the Israel Heritage Sites Preservation Authority for hosting this insightful event.
