Location: Road 2411 Ofakim-Shade-Teiman
The design project of road 2411 Ofakim-Shade-Teiman, which connects the city of Ofakim by a new road to route 25 as part of a large-scale plan of expanding the city of Ofakim, is currently open for traffic.
As part of the project, 7.2 km long road designed, includes three bridges that were designed and executed, each with its own unique construction limitations.
Bridges Description:
BR-02 - bridge over Ofakim river – Precast girder bridge, 80 meters long in three spans of 24,32,24 meters.
BR-03 - bridge over Patish river - Precast girder bridge, 80 meters long in three spans of 24,32,24 meters.
BR-04 - Ecological transition bridge - a cast-in-place integral bridge with a single span of 25 meter long.
In addition, three cast-in-place box culverts, retaining walls, and unique parapet details were designed.
