This year’s trip was to the south of Israel.
The day began with breakfast in the picturesque Forest of Angels. We had a site visit to our bridge project on Route 35, ate lunch at Kibbutz Mashavei Sadeh and walked through Sde Boker to a viewpoint which provided spectacular views of the Negev desert.
The day ended with a tour through the Ashalim solar energy plant, where we learned about the construction of the largest renewable energy project in Israel.
